Small Production

Premium Leather

Built for the Job. Locked In for Efficiency.

When every tool stays exactly where you expect it, you move faster, work cleaner, and waste less effort.

Stitched-in-place rigs keep your setup locked in—no shifting, no sagging, no adjusting. Just smooth, repeatable efficiency so every job is easier.

B-Max. Where It All Started.

This is the flagship belt. The rig that started it all. Designed by a framer, for framers, this stitched-in-place toolbelt is the result of decades on-site, refining what works.

The B-Max (and its variations) give you the most ergonomic, efficient, and long-lasting setup possible.

Serious Work Needs Serious Gear

Akribis Stitched-In-Place tool belts aren’t mass-produced, generic setups. They’re built from the ground up with the tools, workflow, and weight balance that tradespeople actually need.

Whether you’re framing, finishing, or running wire, this is purpose-built efficiency you can count on.

Every Feature Earns Its Place

Tool-Specific Layouts

Each rig is designed around the unique needs of specific trades.

Precision Placement

Every pouch is positioned for optimal workflow and easy access.

Balanced Carry

Weight is evenly distributed for better comfort and reduced fatigue.

Lower Profile

No extra hardware or bulk, just a streamlined setup that moves with you.

Locked-In Stability

No shifting, sagging, or adjusting—your tools stay exactly where you need them.

Built for Speed

Muscle memory takes over when everything is exactly where it should be.

Durable by Design

Fewer moving parts mean less wear and tear over time.

No Extra Hardware

No unnecessary clips, loops, or fasteners to catch on materials or get in the way.

Quick-Access Tape Pouch

The Most Efficient Tape Placement—Period.

Once you’ve used a front tape placement, you won’t go back. Faster, smoother, more intuitive. You drop it in, grab it without thinking, and keep moving. It’s one of the most overlooked efficiency upgrades you can make to your workflow.

Designed by Trades for Trades

We’ve spent decades on the tools, so we know what works. Every pocket, loop, and pouch placement has been dialed in through real-world experience—tested on job sites, refined through years of trade work, and built with the efficiency that pros demand.

Tough, Purpose-Built, and Smells Like Hard Work.

Every stitch, every rivet, every piece of leather—purposefully chosen and expertly built for long-term durability and comfort. No compromises. No shortcuts.

And when you open that box? You’ll smell the difference. That deep, rich scent of real, full-grain leather. A reminder that this isn’t some mass-produced synthetic gear. This is the real deal.

Premium Leather

We use 7.5–8 oz chrome-tanned U.S. hides—nearly twice as thick as work boot leather—treated for water resistance and durability. High-wear areas get reinforced with 10–12 oz retan latigo leather for extra toughness.

Metal

Our hammer loops, tool hooks, and drill clips are built in-house from stainless steel—strong enough for years of abuse. Long D-rings stay upright under load, preventing unwanted movement.

Rivets

Built to last with solid steel rivets locking down critical stress points. Washers reinforce high-stress areas like the rafter square slot for extra durability. Chicago screws make it easy to swap out outer bags and accessories.

Stitching

We use heavy-duty size 277 bonded nylon thread, triple-stitching stress points and reinforcing with rivets to eliminate failure. Thoughtfully placed seams reduce wear, ensuring durability and a perfect break-in over time.

The Right Accessories Make an Already Great Rig Even Greater

Fine-tune your setup with smart add-ons that make your stitched-in-place rig even more dialed in.

Whether it’s suspenders for better weight distribution or clip-on accessories for extra organization, these extras keep you working smoother, longer, and more comfortably.

Take the Weight Off Your Hips

Long days on the job add up. Suspenders help distribute the load, taking pressure off your lower back and hips while keeping your rig balanced and secure.

More comfort, less strain, and no more hitching up your belt every five minutes.

Trade-Specific Solutions

Not sure which stitched-in-place rig is best for your work? Our trade-specific recommendations break it down, giving you the best options for framing, finish work, drywall, and more.

Frequently Asked Questions

I’m left-handed—do you have a Stitched-In-Place setup for me?

Absolutely. We offer left-handed versions of our Stitched-In-Place belts so your most-used tools and fasteners sit exactly where you need them.

No awkward reach, no forcing yourself into a right-handed setup. Just choose the left-handed option when ordering, and we’ll build it to fit your workflow.

What’s the difference between Stitched-In-Place and Modular setups?

Stitched-In-Place rigs are built as one solid unit—bags, loops, and sheaths are permanently secured for better balance, durability, and a higher, more ergonomic fit.

Modular setups let you swap and adjust bags, while Stitched-In-Place gives you a locked-in, dialed setup that moves with you seamlessly.

Will a Stitched-In-Place setup work for my trade?

Probably. These rigs are built with efficiency in mind, and we’ve designed setups for a wide range of trades—from framing to finish work.

The key is knowing what tools you need on you at all times. Check out our Shop by Trade page to see recommendations for your specific work

Can I customize my Stitched-In-Place belt?

Yep. While the core design is set, we offer minor custom modifications—like shifting pouches, adding extra loops, or engraving your name (or crew name) on the belt. Hit us up, and we’ll work with you to get the setup dialed in.

How long does it take to break in?

A couple of weeks of daily wear, and the leather will start to mold to your body like a second skin.

The more you use it, the better it gets. If it feels stiff at first, don’t stress—that’s just full-grain leather doing its thing.

Do I need suspenders with a Stitched-In-Place belt?

Depends on how much weight you carry. Our Stitched-In-Place rigs are designed to sit higher and distribute weight better, so many guys don’t need them.

But if you’re packing a full load—fasteners, hammers, pullers, the works—a solid set of suspenders can take the strain off your hips.
