B-Mini
Lightweight and streamlined, the B-Mini's perfect for light framing, finishing, siding, renovations, and general construction. Smaller than the B-Max but still big on function, the B-Mini has dedicated spots for your hammer, tape measure, nail puller, 7” rafter square, and suspenders.
Designed to work seamlessly with suspenders with the mounts sewn in place, it features a front quick-release belt clip for easy on-and-off. Customize it with your choice of left-side outer bags, diagonal hammer sleeve, and micro square slot.
Versatile and capable, the B-Mini is at home on any job—from framing to finishing.
Sizing: We make three sizes of B-Mini:
- Small: For pant sizes 30 and smaller.
- Standard: For pant sizes between 31 and 39. Measures 35 1/4" from the buckle to the first belt hole. 11.25" at the front between the left and right main bags.
- XL: For pant sizes 40 and larger.
We select the appropriate size based on the Pant Size you enter in your order. For a small, we remove the metal drill clip and bring the bags closer together. We will still include the clip and chicago screws separately so you can install it wherever you like. With the drill clip section removed the tape measure pouch will be slightly off centre. The only difference on the XL is that it has a longer belt, the bags remain the same. If you need a smaller or larger B-Mini you'll need to add the Custom Order option to your cart and request the size you need.

Should I choose Right-Handed or Left-Handed?
What’s the difference between left-handed and right-handed setups?
A right-handed setup places your most-used tools (hammer, knife, square, etc.) on your right side, while fasteners and secondary tools are on the left. A left-handed setup is a mirror image—your main tools are on the left, and fasteners shift to the right.
Every Akribis belt is available in both right-handed and left-handed versions, ensuring an ergonomic, efficient workflow no matter your preference. For modular setups, simply choose left-handed bags to configure your rig. For Stitched-In-Place belts, we offer fully left-handed versions where every pocket and tool slot is positioned for natural use.
What materials go into the Stitched-In-Place bags?
Premium Leather
We use 7.5–8 oz chrome-tanned U.S. hides—twice as thick as work boot leather—treated for water resistance and durability. High-wear areas get reinforced with 10–12 oz retan latigo leather for extra toughness.
Metal
Our hammer loops, tool hooks, and drill clips are built in-house from stainless steel—strong enough for years of abuse. Long D-rings stay upright under load, preventing unwanted movement.
Rivets
Placed for strength, longevity, and aesthetics, using solid copper and brass where needed. Chicago screws reinforce high-stress areas like the rafter square slot, adding durability, easy replacement, and a clean, polished look.
Stitching
We use heavy-duty size 277 bonded nylon thread, triple-stitching stress points and reinforcing with rivets to eliminate failure. Thoughtfully placed seams reduce wear, ensuring durability and a perfect break-in over time.
How do I attach auxiliary bags and accessories?
Our modular system is designed with flexibility in mind. Auxiliary bags, tool clips, and add-ons can be attached using leather loops, Chicago screws, or metal clips, depending on the accessory.
How long to break in my new leather bags?
Your bags may feel stiff at first—that’s on purpose. Leather stretches over time, and we build our bags snug so they don’t end up loose and sloppy after a few months. Give it 2–3 weeks of daily use, and it’ll mold to your tools and the way you work.
The best way to break it in? Load it up and get to work. The leather will soften, the pockets will form, and before long, it’ll feel like it was made just for you—because, in a way, it was.

So far the b mini is great sits really nice and comfortable, great spots for tools and an overall very nice flow when working and made from very nice quality leather. Only thing I would say the main pockets could be possibly an additional 1" out wider to allow for hand space. But that is a small thing.
If ur contemplating purchasing an akribis B-mini or any other of the amazing belts they produce, don’t hesitate. You are going to purchase a belt and then wonder “why did I not buy this sooner?” You simply cannot argue the time and effort this belt saves you. It is simply efficient.

As a DIYer it's hard to pull the trigger on a tool belt of this caliber due to two factors. Cost and you feel like a poser with this on. But as I got older time and convenience became much more valuable.

I bought this set as and addition to the trimmer set I already have. I wanted something that could carry a normal size rafter square and have a little more capacity. It’s the perfect size, the pouches are well laid out and the slots keep things well organized. I love that Akribis bags don’t swing around when you’re walking. These are by far the best thought out and well made tool bags you can buy. The front tape measure and bit index is a game changer. The bags are heavy for a reason. With the Akribis suspenders, you can really distribute the weight evenly between your shoulders and hips, you’ll almost forget you’re wearing a tool belt.
