Akribis Leather Guarantee and Returns Policy

We take pride in crafting high-quality gear that works as hard as you do. If something goes wrong or doesn’t meet your expectations, we’ll do our best to make it right. Here’s everything you need to know:

 

Our Guarantee 

Free Repairs (1-Year Coverage)

We offer free repairs on stitching and rivets for 1 year from the date of purchase. If something fails under normal use, send it back, and we’ll fix it at no cost.

 

What’s Covered:
  • Stitching or rivet failure due to regular use.

What’s Not Covered:
  • Damage caused by misuse, excessive wear and tear, overloading, or unauthorized modifications.

  • Cosmetic wear like scuffs or patina from normal use.

For repairs outside the 1-year guarantee or non-covered issues, we’re happy to help with repairs at a reasonable cost. Just reach out to us, and we’ll provide a quote before moving forward.


Returns Policy 

If you’re not satisfied with your bag, we’d love to make things right. If we can’t find a solution, you can return the product within 3 months of purchase for a full refund, as long as it’s in new and unused condition.

What’s Covered:
  • The full product price will be refunded.

What’s Not Covered:
  • Original shipping costs and return shipping fees.

  • Items that show signs of use or wear.

  • Custom-made or personalized items, unless there’s a defect in craftsmanship.

 

Tools Warranty

We honour all manufacturers’ warranties for third-party tools and workwear purchased through Akribis Leather, i.e. Martinez Tools, 1620, Hyspecs. Unless specified otherwise on the product page, tools fall under our existing guarantee. For details around manufacturers warranties, please visit their website directly.


How to Request a Return or Repair

  • Contact Us: Email info@akribisleather.com with your order details (name, email address, and order number) and a clear description of the issue or request. We will provide you with the next steps, including how to print out your return shipping label.

  • For Repairs: Include pictures of the issue to help us evaluate the repair.

  • Ship the Item: Carefully package the product to avoid further damage during transit. For returns, include all original tags and packaging if possible.

  • Use Trackable Shipping: We’re not responsible for lost or damaged items during transit, so we recommend a trackable shipping service.

 

Processing Timelines:
  • Repairs: Typically completed within 2-3 weeks of receiving the item, depending on the issue.

  • Returns: Refunds are processed within 14 days of receiving the product.

 

Examples of What’s Covered
  • Example 1: A rivet pops off your bag during regular use within the first year—we’ll repair it for free.
  • Example 2: You overload your bag with way too many tools, and the strap tears. That’s not covered under the guarantee, but we can quote the repair and get it fixed.
