A streamlined, mid-size, non-dominant-side bag for framing, forming, and general carpentry. The SLT is more slim than the LT and moves the tape location to the hip. The main compartment fits a standard 7” rafter square, while auxiliary loops and pockets keep your fasteners and tools accessible.
A high forward-facing tape pocket, diagonal nail puller sheath, and interior stick nail sheath ensure quick access to essentials. Customize your SLT with optional outer bags and a 5” Micro Square Slot to tailor it to your workflow.

What’s the difference between left-handed and right-handed setups?
It depends on which hand you use to grab tools.
• Right-Handed Bag – Designed for right-handed users. Pockets and tool slots are positioned for easy access with your right hand.
• Left-Handed Bag – Designed for left-handed users. Everything is flipped for easy access with your left hand.
Don’t confuse this with Right Side vs. Left Side Bags. That just refers to where the bag sits on your belt—not how it’s set up inside.
If you’re right-handed and want a bag for your left side, you need a Left Side Bag – Right-Handed Orientation.

What materials go into the Modular Looped bags?
Premium Leather
We use 7.5–8 oz chrome-tanned U.S. hides—twice as thick as work boot leather—treated for water resistance and durability. High-wear areas get reinforced with 10–12 oz retan latigo leather for extra toughness.
Metal
Our hammer loops, tool hooks, and drill clips are built in-house from stainless steel—strong enough for years of abuse. Long D-rings stay upright under load, preventing unwanted movement.
Rivets
Placed for strength, longevity, and aesthetics, using solid copper and brass where needed. Chicago screws reinforce high-stress areas like the rafter square slot, adding durability, easy replacement, and a clean, polished look.
Stitching
We use heavy-duty size 277 bonded nylon thread, triple-stitching stress points and reinforcing with rivets to eliminate failure. Thoughtfully placed seams reduce wear, ensuring durability and a perfect break-in over time.
How do I attach auxiliary bags and accessories?
Our modular system is designed with flexibility in mind. Auxiliary bags, tool clips, and add-ons can be attached using leather loops, Chicago screws, or metal clips, depending on the accessory.
How long to break in my new leather bags?
Your bags may feel stiff at first—that’s on purpose. Leather stretches over time, and we build our bags snug so they don’t end up loose and sloppy after a few months. Give it 2–3 weeks of daily use, and it’ll mold to your tools and the way you work.
The best way to break it in? Load it up and get to work. The leather will soften, the pockets will form, and before long, it’ll feel like it was made just for you—because, in a way, it was.

I’m not a framer so this pouch is the perfect size for me. It holds everything I need and nothing that I don’t. It is super sturdy and made extremely well. I had another pouch from a famous maker but the leather was soft and it didn’t stay open. Luke has all of his products dialed in. The reinforcement around the lip is great. Open enough to get your hand on but not so wide that you can’t fit between studs or doorways. My 25’ Milwaukee tape fit in the holder right from the start. Overall this is the best pouch I’ve ever used!
These are the perfect nail bags for me! I was debating between the SLT and the one with the tape holder next to the cats paw/nail puller sheath. I've always had my tape mounted on my left hip, but I saw a couple reviews saying they had trouble fitting their hand underneath the tape, into the main pouch while wearing a watch. I chanced it, and I can say I've had ZERO issues reaching my hand into the main pouch under the tape, but I also don't wear a watch! The leather was even thicker than I expected, which I'm happy about. I used leather conditioner and worked my tools and pencils in and out a few times, and they were broken in enough to use immediately. I used Dead On bags and DeWalt bags before this and I wouldn't say these Akribis Max bags are "too big", they are just a little more spacious, without overdoing it. If you've already used full size bags, you'll be used to these. The square stays in incredibly well. Great, great quality all around!
Well built took about a week to break in perfect size
Unmatched quality, super impressive. BUT-between the tape measure holder and the built in nail sleeve, there’s really no way to get your hand into the main cavity, especially if the speed square is in there. I couldn’t do it at all with my watch on. No knock on the craftsmanship, just the layout didn’t work for me.
Bought these bags and belt to complete my set and I absolutely love my bags. No complaints Great quality! Definitely gonna buying some accessories soon!

Let me start by saying this should be a 5, build quality is the best and choice of materials. This review is just super specific to me, I use plastic collated nails and they dont really fit in the sheath well. Should have just got a slightly different set up.
I’m only giving 2 stars because I didn’t realize I was ordering one of the smaller pouches he offers. This is partially my fault. Still, for being a medium bag it is awfully hard to fit my hand in the main pouch, with the tape measure spot & all. It’s a little on the heavy side too… but after running it for 2 days I ordered a LT with 3 bags… if that says anything about the quality.. I’ve made several orders when I could have made just one… but I’m not complaining. It’s literally worth it.
Amazing bag, I love the space and how short the bags are not hanging way down.
Great bag, one thing to note is that the tape holder/size of the lower bag can get in the way so your hand ends up rubbing against the heel of a holstered speed square as your reaching into the bag. So it takes some time to get used to. It can be annoying but overall a great bag.

Only small constructive criticism would be:
-Tape measure position limits hand access to big pouch. (Probably would’ve got the model with the tape holster on front of bag)
-Paslode nail sleeve pocket could be a little deeper. I find that the ends of the strips, when you’re down to one or two sleeves hang out enough to get caught and rub on things and can end up folding over or ripping off.
These are small gripes, the bags are still awesome, and well worth it for Canadian craftsmanship. Thanks
